Microneedling (Cutaneous Acupuncture) Therapy
Cutaneous Acupuncture is a technique that treats the surface of the body. "Cutaneous" means "of, or pertaining to, the skin" and the cutaneous needle stimulates the skin superficially, without puncturing deeper tissues. Cutaneous needles are classified as "Seven Star, "Plum Bloosom", "Cluster", and more recently, "Roller" and "Microneedle". The application of Plum Blossom needle therapy has a long history of more than one thousand years. The earliest records derive from the Chinese medical classic the, Ling Shu, and part of the Huang Di Nei Jing, compiled in 475 B.C. - 223 A.D.
